Finalmente è arrivata la primavera (Spring has finally arrived), though it might not feel like it yet where you are.

1. Marzo pazzerello, guarda il sole e prendi l’ombrello! (Crazy March, look at the sun and take an umbrella!)
📍Significato / Meaning:
Marzo è un mese di tempo capriccioso, imprevedibile e lunatico. Con il passaggio stagionale dall’inverno alla primavera, le giornate possono cominiciare con il sole e finire con un temporale, e quindi sotto l’ombrello.
📍Traduzione / Translation:
March is a month of capricious, unpredictable and moody weather. With the seasonal shift from winter to spring, the days can begin with the sun and end with a thunderstorm, and therefore under the umbrella.
2. Cielo a pecorelle, acqua a catinelle. (Sky with “sheep”, water in buckets.)
📍Significato / Meaning:
È il grande classico dei proverbi sul tempo, ed ha solide basi scientifiche.
Infatti, le piccole nuvole simili a tanti batuffoli di cotone (che ricordano un gregge di pecorelle) sono dei cirrocumuli che si trovano tra i 6 e i 7 mila metri di quota, ed indicano la presenza di aria fredda e instabile a quell’altezza, preannunciando spesso l’arrivo di un fronte caldo umido accompagnato da possibili temporali o rovesci.

This is the great classic proverb about weather, and it has a solid scientific basis.
In fact, small clouds similar to many cotton balls (reminiscent of a flock of sheep) are cirrocumulus that are located between 6 and 7 thousand meters above sea level, and indicate the presence of cold and unstable air at that height, foretelling often the arrival of a hot humid front accompanied by possible thunderstorms or showers.
