Intermediate Italian Conversation Class Follow-up —
Fall/Winterim 2014: Nov 11-Dec 9 (No class Thanksgiving week) | Curriculum: Completion of La commissiaria book, more grammar work, and some Italian songs and/or a look at Italian holiday traditions if the group desires.
Post Class 3/4, Tues, Dec 9– Follow up /COMPITI :
- Print and study the Italian song lyrics of Bianco Natale (White Christmas). Highlight words that are new to you. There are 12 different VERBS in the song… can you find and write them in a list? Listen to the song here
- Print and study the vocab & phrase list “Le feste invernali in Italia” (Italian winter holidays in Italy). Are there any other holiday-related terms you would like to know in Italian? Take note and ask in class.
- Reading: Italian Christmas Traditions: Un sondaggio di miei amici italiani. Print and read. Look up words you don’t know.
