 ** STUDY TIPS & SUGGESTIONS **

  • Remember that you’re learning Italian for personal enrichment, think of what motivates you — and enjoy your study time! 🙂
  • Study gradually & consistently — language acquisition is gradual. Even just 15 minutes a day is more beneficial than a several-hour “cram session”.
  • CONSIDER studying first thing in the morning — 15-20 minutes over coffee, and also in little spurts or breaks throughout the day — for some people this works really well.
  • Continue reviewing previous class materials and content.
  • Say words and phrases aloud.
  • To improve pronunciation: periodically record and listen to yourself on your smartphone.
  • Once you’ve completed weekly class assignments, feel free to practice in any way that you find helpful and enjoyable… apps on your phone, Italian music and movies, etc.
